Falling exclusively in the latter camp is the Connected Hagen Watch by Denmark’s Skagen (a subsidiary of Fossil). The Hagen looks so much like a straightforward and beautiful timepiece that you wouldn’t know at first sight it offers things like activity tracking, notification alerts and compatibility with a companion app. There’s also a James Bond style button on the side of the bezel that allows you take pictures and control music by way of Skagen’s Link technology. And all of this comes without the need for charging because the watch runs on a standard coil cell battery. The Hagen is definitely standing on the threshold between old school and new school with one foot on either side.
“What we wanted to do with Hagen is create a new, modern and sophisticated watch style that speaks to the true modernity of the Skagen brand,” says Skagen’s Senior Creative Director Thomas Bennedsen. “We wanted to create a watch that would look great in a big city environment yet easily translate to one that’s relaxed.”
The objective is clear: minimalist analogue craftsmanship paired with modern convenience. Put another way, the Hagen and other watches like it are aimed at those who want to wear a smartwatch and still look like they’re en route to an important meeting or a nice dinner and not a Comic Con convention.vedere di piu replica rolex orologi e replica Breitling Cosmonaute
